Rebuilt internal network infrastructure including servers with Windows 2003/2008 (previously NT/2000). Installation
of Cisco ASA (previously PIX) firewalls with dedicated site-to-site VPN. Provide remote assistance and occasional on-site appointments to support
end-users. Maintain Ceres Navision database server tracking warehouse inventory plus that of 2 branch sites. Running
Exchange 2007 for internal email, calendar and distribution list
functions. Windows 2003 Terminal Server with Linux-based bootable CD allows for use of donated computers (any
Pentium or better) as thin stations; providing employee access to Ceres, Outlook, shared files, marketing photos, and filtered
Internet access. Rebuilt and maintain website in ASP, including many web-based forms, provide web server colocation. |

Implemented Cisco switches and PIX firewall for high availability with failover
in an eCompany incubator environment. Exposure to SAP involving transports and startup in conjunction
with NT and SQL Server. Re-built the entire IT infrastructure for a 85+ employee consulting company
including Windows 2000 active directory and Exchange 2000. Migrated 60+ users from an
acquired company on Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000. Implemented single-sign-on across multiple systems including Great Plains,
VPN, web-based resources, SharePoint Portal Server, and Project 2002 Server. Created an IT Support website enabling
roaming consultants to find solutions to commonly asked questions (such as adding a printer)
and to submit support tickets. Built and troubleshot a variety of laptop and desktop hardware,
utilizing desktops as servers when necessary for development. Encouraged best practices across consultant
implementations using internal company systems as an example. |

Migrated 2000+ Lotus Notes mailboxes to the divine hosted Exchange 2000 beta
cluster, and later the released version cluster. Created and rolled out the company-wide standard image
based on four laptop hardware standards and one desktop standard. Scripted build aid process for easy
updating and to keep consistency across hardware models. Automated user personalization and swap
processes. Setup and managed lab environment for image builds and image dumps to new
machines. Product experience includes Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, Ghost 6.5, Norton Anti-Virus 7.51,
Office XP, and Windows Scripting Host. Created a web-based survey to collect end-user data on required
software, current machine stats, serial number, office location and tentative migration date. |

including how-to articles and service bulletins for end users and administration tools for support staff to

data for projects and users, rollout of Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, management of wiring closets and VLANs. |

Setup domain name for website and email hosted on an in-house server behind
a Cisco PIX firewall. Diagnosed malfunctioning tape backup drive, created new daily backup schedule
and tape rotation via Backup Exec. Worked to rectify problems authorizing credit cards when swiped thru
point of sale system magnetic card readers. Provided secure remote administration in case of immediate need. |

downloaded to client machines. Made numerous recommendations toward security and restrictive

home directories and user accounts on shared NT4 server. Setup ISDN line for Internet access to allow
product demo during a hotel convention. Provided solutions for new office environment with DSL line,
mail server, web server, proprietary application server and networked printers. |
